Abstract
The coffee plant is an annual plant that is not resistant to water stress, either directly or indirectly. One of the problems faced by coffee farmers today is climate change related to drought. Therefore, in this research a study will be conducted on the impact of climate change on coffee productivity. The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the relationship between climate factors and robusta coffee productivity. (2) to find out what efforts have been and will be made by farmers in dealing with the impacts of climate change. This research was conducted in Pucungroto Village and Sambak Village, Kejoran District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province. The population in this study were the Wonomulyo farmer group in Pucungroto Village, Kejoran District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, with a total of 25 family cards and the Subur Makmur farmer group in Sambak Village, Kejoran District, Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, with a total of 25 family cards. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique, namely saturated sampling. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: (1) Climate change (rainfall, temperature and humidity) has a low correlation with coffee productivity. (2) The efforts made by farmers to increase coffee productivity amid the threat of climate change show that pruning coffee trees has a significant effect on productivity.
